FAMILY is like a diamond, 

It is hard to break and hard to earn,

It is the most expensive ‘ship’ that worth infinity,

   Family is the most precious thing that I ever had. Even sometimes people says that they hate their family but I know that deep in theirs heart there are still ‘love’ for their family. It does not matter whether we come from a poor family or rich family because family will complete each other. 

Some people still do not realize that theirs family is still there for them, some people do realize, but there act that they do not realize the existence of their family when they were at the bad times.

Maybe you will be wondering why I wrote this, why I choose to write this? It is because I want to remind you and myself that family always comes first. Don’t ever neglect your own family. Do appreciate you family members when they still there for you and do not regret when they are gone.          
                                                                    

HOW TO IMPROVE MY ENGLISH

                                                                                      

   English is a worldwide language which is the most important language in this 21 century. As our former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir said, English language is the universal language which is important for every person in this world. English is widely use in international business, interview session and etc. As I am the student, I need to improve my English not only as my ticket to proceed my study in foreign country, but as my secondary language for the entire of my life. To improve my English, I’ve prepared some strategies that I want to share with everybody.

 1. To set foot on, I have to surround myself with English speakers or anyone who is good in English language by joining them in theirs conversation or hanging out with them. By doing this, I can practice to listen and speak in English.

                                                             

 2.  I can listen to any English songs. Psychologist says that one of the way to improve our English is listening to English songs. It is not only fun, but I can improve my pronunciation in English by listening to my favorite songs. But, if I am just listening to the song, I only can get 40% improvement. So, to get an excellent 100% improvement, I have read the lyric of the song, read between lines of the song and understand the meaning of each words in the song by referring a dictionary.

         

3.   Besides that, with the development of technology in this century, I can access Internet to get more information about English language. There are a lot education websites that can be my reference to improve my English such as blog and online learning systems.

                            

4.  Furthermore, I have to start to own a diary! Usually people says that “in English, spoken is different with written” I have to improve my English in writing too because in this era, most of the resume for job applicant and applicant proceed study must be written in English. So, by having a diary, I can write my daily life in my diary and practice my writing in English and I must keep my diary in English!

                                                                 

5.  Thus, to improve my English, I must read English language newspaper. By reading the English newspaper such as The Star and News Strait Times, I can enhance my English in vocabulary and writing. There are an output and input when I read the newspaper. 

6.  Next, I have to practice myself to learn a word a day. I have to jot down a new word that I learn and by referring the dictionary, I must define and interpret the meaning of the word with my own words. The new word that I learnt can be use in my English writing. 

                              

7.  In addition, to enhance my English, I have to speak in English wherever I can without worry about making a mistakes because we learn from the mistake. To practice speaking in English I have to throw away all my doubtness and shy and I must have a high level self-confidence.

8.  Last but not least, sometimes I will be wondering how does it sound when the English words come out from my mouth. So, i will record it by myself and listen to the recording. By listening back to the recording, I an notice my strength and weakness whenever I speak in English.

                                                           

          Talking back from the shoulder, I must not to fritter away one’s chance when I have the opportunity to improve my English. There are a lot of ways to improve in English. We must put an effort to improve our English because ‘Rome was not built in a day. English is a conglomeration of a bunch languages, there is no hard and fast rule , so why not you start with your own strategies to enhance and improve your English?

It’s such a sad thing,

But I know the pleasant memories,

LIVING AMONG DIFFERENT RACES

   Living in a different race communities where there are people of various races could be an exciting experience. It is like a small world with many races and type of peoples in this stunning world.

 

   Young or old, everyone enjoys listening to stories about people from other land and country. We can learn about the beliefs, cultures and religions of the people from the people who do not belong to our race through books, journals, newspaper and other resources. We also can learn directly from them. Our homeland, Malaysia is known as multi-racial country because of the different races Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races that lives together in one land and unite which each other for more than five decades.

                                                                

   Furthermore, living in a different races country teach us how to respect other races and cultures. Understanding each other and appreciate the peculiarities of other races in the root for a unity in different races. If we can adapt it, we can live in a peace and harmony country with different races.

 

     Besides that, the relationship that has been developed in a different races from five decades ago in Malaysia has been one of the country’s strength and our leader’s strength to rules this country. A lot of achievements in Malaysia that we can see through living in a different races. Moreover, we also can see a different celebration and unique celebration such as Deepavali, a celebration for Indians that full of colors and uniqueness when live in a different races.

   Talking straight from the shoulder, what can I say is I am so proud because I was born in Malaysia, the country that has different races and I live in a different races.

I've seen a ghost

 The beggining of the story, when my family and I decided to spend the holiday together at the hometown in Perak. It was such a wonderful day that I had in my life because I was very excited to see my lovely grandmother. I could
imagined the surrounding around my village with the beautiful paddy-field in front of the house. But at the same time, I also felt scared when it comes to midnight. The village will be very quiet and we would only  heard the sound of the owl and cicada insect in the jungle  near the house. imagined the surrounding around my village with the beautiful paddy-field in front of the house. Its time to put all the bag into the car and start our journey to the hometown. Like usual , my mother bought some food . Terengganu made in food like traditional foods such as “Keropok Lekor” and “Satar” to bring back to the hometown. Our journey took six to eight hours to arrive in Perak. It was such a long time for me. At last ,we arrived at 6 p.m at the hometown. “ping ! Ping !” my father honked in front of the house. There was someone with a beautiful smilling,wear “kain batik” and “baju kurung kedah” sitting on the chair. Without thinking, I got out from the car and I hug my lovely grandmother.    She told us to come inside the house to have dinner together in the kitchen. As clock shown 8 p.m, it was a tiring day . Suddenly, I heard my brother calling me from outside the house.”Achik!! come here. You have to see this!”. I quickly got up to look at it . “Look at the behind that tree. I saw a white shadow standing behind it!" said my brother. Then, I find out that shadow and I said “Where? I’m not scared to it. Come on, I want to take a photo of it!!Ha..Ha..Ha!!”. Suddenly, the shadow had gone. We were shocked ! When my brother heard that, he got angry at me. “Huh, whatever”  I sigh      At the midnight, we prepare the bed for sleep. “Tik,Tok,Tik,Tok” sound of clock that stick at the wall of house. I look around my bed . The surrounding was very creepy . Suddenly! I saw something weird in front of me. Its look like ‘ batu nisan’ with white colour and the red eye stare to me. Oh no! I was shocked ! I could not do anything at that time. I freezed . All the part of body become stiff. I try to reach my mother’s hand that was sleeping beside me . I tried, tried and tried . Lastly, my mother woke up from her sleep and then that ghost had disappear. I could not say anything and all I did was cry. My mother tried to comfort me until I slept in her arms.
But no one trust me about the story. All of them only laughed at me. They said that maybe I only have a bad dream last night.



  

 On the next day, I told the incident that I had last night .

BENEFITS OF STUDYING IN GROUP

        There are various benefits of studying in group. Studying in group is defined as a bunch of students meet each other to have a discussion related to academic. The benefits of studying in group is can produce many ideas and sharpen the learning skills especially related to problems solving.

 Frankly, people say that many heads is better than one. So, it will enhance the process of learning. Moreover, studying in group can practice a good teamwork among the students. It can be seen when they work with each other to strike  the pinnacle of success in having a study group.

 Furthermore, it also will boost and tighten the bond in friendship and improve communication skills among them because the students will communicate to each other to look for the solution. By having a verbal communication, they will braid a friendship. Talking straight from the shoulder, studying in group consists a various benefits which is much better than studying alone. Remember, study is bane of childhood, the oil of youth, the indulgence of adulthood and a restorative in old age.

The country that I want to live.

When I have a choice to choose  which country in this world, my choice would be JAPAN. It is because Japan is the famous country in the world. Japan has a rich history and a diverse culture. Japan and it tradition experienced changes throughout its history. Japan initially had a feudal system that transformed into a technologically-driven modern society. The interesting part about the occurrence of change in Japan is that the Japanese people were able to maintain their traditional culture in the present age. 

 Their people were known as a people who like to read. They also like their readings. The people of Japan used their spend time to read some book so they can increase their knowledge. I can be a clever person if I live in Japan, this because I’m followed their good attitude. The Japanese also are very kind to each other. They like to help and respect to one and another.

There are many beautiful places in the Japan. One of it is Fuji Mountain. Fuji Mountain is so suitable place for couples. This is because Fuji Mountain is a romantic place and full of memories. Many couples came to take some picture as a proof to their partner and relationship. Other than that, Japan also has a nice ocean and islands. Many tourists visited the islands during holiday. The island is so beautiful and fresh. Its sands as soft as cottons and its color like white pearl.

            

The next  reason why I chose the Japan as my choice is because I likes their foods. Japan has many of delicious food such as takoyaki, ramen, tempura and sushi. I like to eat sushi very much. Sushi is a food that contains seafood, japan rice and covered with seaweed. Other than sushi, I also like to eat takoyaki or squid ball. Its taste is so nice and it so spongy. I fill so good when I eat takoyaki.

Frankly , I like Japan very much. I would choose Japan country as a country that I want to live. I hope Japan not lose their good attitude and tradition to the next generation in the future.
